Rooky is designed to provide a separate path for confirming a person or request, rather than becoming another place where your conversations live. We do not record the content of your calls, messages, or meetings through the Services. We also do not use your address book to build or sell a contact directory.

This policy applies to personal information we process as a controller. If you use Rooky through an organization, that organization may have its own policies and may determine how certain information is handled.

We collect information that is needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Services. Depending on how you use Rooky, this may include:

Account and profile information

Information you provide when you register or communicate with us, such as your name, email address, phone number, account settings, and support requests.

Verification information

Information required to deliver a verification, such as the participants involved, the time a request was created, its status or result, device or account identifiers, and security signals. Rooky is built to keep the confirmation separate from the original conversation.

Device and service information

Technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, crash reports, diagnostic data, and activity needed to maintain service security and reliability.

Information from device permissions

With your permission, the app may use capabilities such as notifications, contacts, or biometric confirmation. You can manage these permissions in your device settings. We do not sell your contacts or use them to create a directory.

Payment information

If you purchase a paid offering, payment details are processed by the relevant app-store, payment provider, or other authorized processor. We receive information needed to confirm the purchase and provide support, but do not store full payment-card numbers.

• create and manage accounts, send verification requests, and deliver results;
